A conversation with Littlest

Let me set the scene...We are getting ready to leave for a day of preschool & errands. We have a conversation about hair care.

Me: Please comb your hair so we can get to school.

Littlest: NO...I don't want to.

Me: Yes, please comb your hair.

Littlest: NO...I don't need to.

Me: Yes, PLEASE comb your hair!

Littlest: No, I did it last week and it still looks good! (said smiling & very proud of her current
hair do)

Me: (sigh & slight laughter) ...just comb your hair...please?

"Moment" of the Week #1

'Moment' of the week is where I will share a special photo, video, news clip, etc. They will be both from the past and present...so to start us off, here is the very first 'moment'.

I don't really have much to say about this picture of Biggest...other than she has a remarkable ability to make me smile! :)

Happy Birthday!!

On this day, 7 years ago, we welcomed our first born into this world.

Our 7 lbs 15.7 oz bundle of joy,

born at 1:28pm, after just a few hours of torturous labor ;o)

(sorry, my scanner doesn't work at the moment, so no baby pictures to share)

Here she is today...
HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY!!

100...

Today Biggest celebrated her 100th day of school. Last week we spent some time glueing "crazy mac" onto construction paper in the shape of 100. Today was the actual celebration. This is what I saw getting off the bus this afternoon.

"Biggest"

I figured since I'm introducing my family to the bloggy world, I would give Biggest her turn.

Biggest will be 7 years old in 2 weeks, and is in First Grade. She will be playing soccer for the first time, this summer. I'm not sure who is more excited...her or her Father (who is a die-hard soccer player). Either way, it will be an interesting experience for me, considering I know very little about the rules of soccer...even though I've attended the majority of Honey's soccer games in the last 10 years.

"Littlest"

Since I'm starting over with my new blog, I thought I'd start of by sharing one of my favorite pics of my "Littlest".

"Littlest" just actually turned 5 years old and is in preschool. I know, not so little any more. But I've always called her my "littlest angel" since she's my youngest and the name "littlest" just stuck. So, here she is!
